Hello, and welcome to another installment of "Member of the Moment," with our target subject, Slidersq! Slider is one of VGR's earliest stalwarts. He is known around these parts as a Nerd Supreme, with Disney and Star Wars duking it out for his affections.
Without further ado, let's get to know Slidersq a little better.So, first things first - you're in New Jersey, right? Are you involved in organized crime? Yes I live in New Jersey, and no I am not part of organized crime, that is more north of me. I live, by what some call it, at the shore. I live in an area that is resort towns, mainly summer people in some places. My town itself is the thoroughfare between two of these towns.
What do you do for a living? I understand that you, like me, have had a little bit of unwelcome down time lately.I work for my father-in-law installing ceramic, porcelain, etc. tile. We had a rough summer, with the housing industry down, getting new construction jobs has been rough. We have just picked up again, however the outlook into November and beyond it not looking good.
I think I will be picking up a second job just to afford some things and actually get some medical insurance to help out with some bills.
This sucky economy certainly interferes with gaming. What games are on your must-have list for fall/winter of 2008?Must haves/buys this season? Wow, there is a huge list of great games coming out.
I would like to get GOW2 however the first one didn't really do it for me, I only got past the "Easy" part of Act I in SP.
The ones I will be buying are COD: World at War (there is actually a co-op mode now)
Scene- it: Box Office Smash, here in the house we have several of the DVD games as well as the first. Now since this one has online Multi-player and will have Download content, this game will be in my hands on release day
There are so many others I would like to buy on release day, however like some here on VGR too many games not enough money.
